1. Who we are
This website and the services described on it are operated by Drishyam Entertaiment, a sole proprietorship of Rushabh Kamleshbhai Jariwala registered with the Government of India under Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-GJ-22-0017550, trading as Drisshyam Entertainment ("Drisshyam", "we", "us", "our"), an event planning and production business based at E-9, Abhishek Park Apartment, Udhna Magdalla Road, Vesu, Surat, Gujarat 395007, India.
We are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy, as defined in India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). This policy also follows the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.
This policy covers personal data we collect through this website, through WhatsApp, phone calls, email and Instagram, and while planning and running your event.
2. Personal data we collect
We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and deliver your event.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive data such as passwords, card numbers, health information or government ID numbers over WhatsApp or email. Please do not send it.
3. How we use your personal data
- To reply to your enquiry and share quotations, concepts and availability.
- To plan, design, produce and manage your event, including coordinating with venues, vendors and artists.
- To send booking confirmations, schedules, payment reminders and day-of updates.
- To issue invoices, keep accounts and meet our tax and legal obligations.
- To improve our services and keep this website working and secure.
- With your separate consent only: to send offers, festive greetings or news about upcoming events.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. WhatsApp Business messaging
We use the WhatsApp Business app and/or the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API), provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. and WhatsApp LLC, to talk to clients. Where we use an authorised WhatsApp Business Solution Provider, it processes messages only on our behalf and under contract.
When we message you
- Replies to you. When you message us first, we reply on the same chat.
- Service messages. Once you have shared your number and asked us to contact you, we may send quotations, booking confirmations, schedules, payment reminders and event updates.
- Promotional messages. Only if you have clearly agreed to receive them, for example by ticking a box, replying "YES" or asking to be added. You can withdraw this at any time.
How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any message from us, or tell us in the chat that you no longer want messages. We will stop promotional messages straight away and will only send messages about a booking that is still active. You can also block our number in WhatsApp at any time.
What WhatsApp and Meta process
Messages you exchange with us are carried by WhatsApp. WhatsApp and Meta process data such as your phone number, profile name and message metadata under their own terms and policies, including the WhatsApp Privacy Policy and the WhatsApp Business Terms. Where we use the WhatsApp Business Platform, Meta hosts messages on our behalf as a service provider. We do not use WhatsApp data to advertise to you on other platforms.
We keep WhatsApp conversations only as long as needed for your enquiry or event, as set out in section 8.
5. Consent and lawful use
We process your personal data on the basis of:
- Your consent, which you give when you contact us and share your details for an enquiry, or when you agree to promotional messages. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
- Legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act, such as when you voluntarily provide data for a specific purpose (for example, booking an event) and to comply with law, including tax and accounting rules.
6. Who we share personal data with
We share only what each party needs to do its job:
- Event partners: venues, decorators, caterers, sound and light vendors, artists, DJs, photographers and transport providers engaged for your event.
- Service providers: WhatsApp and Meta for messaging, our email provider, website hosting, cloud storage, accounting software and payment providers.
- Professional advisers: our accountants and lawyers, under a duty of confidentiality.
- Authorities: government bodies, police or courts when the law requires it, or to obtain permits needed for your event.
We ask our partners and service providers to use your data only for your event and to keep it secure.
7. Website, cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics cookies, and it has no forms that collect personal data. When you visit it:
- Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, time and page requested) for security and troubleshooting.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Links to WhatsApp and Instagram take you to services run by Meta, which have their own privacy policies.
If we add analytics or a contact form in future, we will update this policy first.
8. How long we keep personal data

We delete data sooner if you ask, unless the law requires us to keep it.
9. Security
We use reasonable security practices to protect personal data, including HTTPS on this website, access only for team members who need it, strong passwords and two-step verification on our WhatsApp, email and cloud accounts, and secure deletion when data is no longer needed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
10. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correct, complete or update inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data when it is no longer needed, subject to legal retention requirements. See our Data Deletion page.
- Withdraw consent at any time, including to promotional messages.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to.
- Grievance redressal by our Grievance Officer, and then by the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.

11. Event photos and social media
We photograph and film our setups and events to show our work on our website and on Instagram (@drisshyam_ent). We focus on decor and staging. We will not publish close-up photos of you or your family without your permission. If you would like any photo or video removed, tell us and we will take it down from our accounts promptly.
12. Children
Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from anyone under 18. Where a child's details are part of an event, such as a birthday, we collect them only from a parent or lawful guardian, with their consent.
13. Transfers outside India
Some of our service providers, including WhatsApp/Meta, Google and cloud storage providers, may store or process data on servers outside India. Such transfers are made in line with the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Government of India.
